Harriet Kelsall is one of the leading jewellery designers in the UK. She set up a pioneering website to retail her beautiful designs in 1997 and subsequently opened a store in Cambridge in 2005. The website had always outshone the store’s performance in communicating her bespoke offer and the challenge for us was to communicate the HK bespoke experience in an environment which differentiated her brand from other jewellery retailers.
The core values of Craft – Quality – Creativity – Bespoke are now conveyed in the furniture, display cabinets, the visual merchandising and the ambience of the interior. This includes a sculptural display of postcards, which relate the customers’ stories that inspired Harriet’s unique designs. The new store design has enhanced the customer proposition of this creative, entrepreneurial, independent retailer and her highly skilled team.
Harriet was named Woman of the Year at the 2011 Specsavers Everywoman in Retail Awards in recognition of her vision, innovative approach and successful career in retail. Harriet was also awarded a UK Jewellery Award for Business Initiative of the Year for bringing bespoke jewellery to the high street.
